Singapore 300-Ton Gantry Crane Successfully Passes Acceptance

Our special 300-ton gantry crane has successfully passed final acceptance by the project owner and Singaporean authorities after completing three precast girder lifts for a high-rise prefabricated building project.

This marks our first overseas project completed this year and the 16th project delivered by HCR in Singapore.

Conquering Three Technical Challenges

Unlike conventional bridge construction, this project is applied to high-rise prefabricated building construction, which places extremely demanding requirements on lifting equipment. Installing 300-ton precast beams at a height of 45 meters requires exceptional lifting capacity and hoisting height—capabilities that conventional mobile cranes can hardly achieve.

At the same time, the structural columns of the building impose strict load-bearing limitations, meaning the lifting equipment must be as lightweight as possible. Faced with the three major challenges of high lifting height, heavy lifting load, and lightweight equipment, our domestic engineering team worked closely with our technical team in Malaysia to conduct multiple rounds of technical studies and design optimization. Through repeated calculations and structural stress analysis, the team ultimately adopted a lightweight design, successfully controlling the total weight of the equipment to within 70 tons, precisely meeting the client's requirements.

Rigorous Testing Validation

To ensure stable and reliable performance, the equipment underwent rigorous factory testing prior to delivery, successfully passing both the 1.1 times dynamic load test and the 1.25 times static load test. The client and project owner visited the factory to witness the entire testing process and expressed high recognition for the equipment's performance.
